Washington Avenue Advisors restricts access to your personal and account information to those of our employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
We will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice if you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive client.
SECTION II: SMS PRIVACY POLICY
1. Introduction
Washington Avenue Advisors may communicate with clients via SMS text message for account-related purposes, including but not limited to providing customer care communications, service and account updates, and general client service communications. By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to the terms outlined in this section.

In connection with SMS communications, WAA may collect the following information. This information is collected via your consent to receive text messages

Washington Avenue Advisors takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or unauthorized destruction of SMS communications and related data. Although WAA employs industry-accepted reasonable security practices and implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality and security of all collected data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted via SMS. While we strive to protect all data transmitted, WAA cannot guarantee its absolute security.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
Mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS contact and content data may be shared with third-party SMS service providers solely as necessary to deliver messages on our behalf. All such providers are required to maintain appropriate confidentiality standards. This category of data is excluded from all other data-sharing practices described in Section I; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:

6. Retention Policy
SMS contact information, message content, and consent records are retained for as long as necessary to service your account or as required by applicable law and regulatory obligations, after which they are securely deleted.
